Implementation of the Bio-Inspired Metaheuristic Firefly Algorithm (FA) Applied to Maximum Power Point Tracking of Photovoltaic Systems

چکیده

In this paper, an algorithm for the maximum extraction of energy generated by photovoltaic (PV) systems was presented. The tracking global point system is complex due to non-linearity current-voltage (I-V) characteristic curve modules, as they vary according temperature and solar irradiation in module. To obtain best efficiency these systems, it important that generation delivering power available through arrangement. order solve such problems, work efficient MPPT-FA method proposed, which showed good traceability when compared traditional methods. Most MPPT techniques are not able find extract provided PV system. Finally, Firefly Metaheuristic proved be robust against several partial shading scenarios. Simulations were presented demonstrate effectiveness proposal MPPT-PO method.
